PLS Bangkok 2026: Review of Southeast Asia Pro Audio & Lighting Exhibition

Prolight + Sound Bangkok opened on 30 September 2026 at Hall EH100, BITEC Exhibition & Convention Centre in Bangkok. As a leading pro audio, lighting and AV technology event in Southeast Asia, it serves as a key trading platform for global brands to connect with ASEAN markets.

The industry calendar has seen a packed exhibition season this year. Starting with Indian DJ Expo in New Delhi, followed by PLASA Show in London, then PLS Bangkok, and LEaT con in Hamburg which has successfully concluded. Due to this tight schedule, our company did not take a booth at PLS Bangkok, but we sent our team members to attend and conduct on-site research.

Grand Opening with Industry Leaders

The opening ceremony welcomed Thai government representatives, organisers, Southeast Asian association delegates and senior executives from leading global enterprises. Representatives from Messe Frankfurt, VNU Asia Pacific, TCEB and Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports jointly unveiled the show. In their speeches, they recognised the strong momentum of ASEAN’s AVL industry and highlighted the exhibition’s role in linking global supply chains, advancing regional industry upgrades and boosting cross-border trade. They look forward to the show continuing to deepen its footprint in Southeast Asia as a high-quality platform for industry exchange and business.

Global Brands Gather for Active Business Meetings

The show enjoyed strong visitor turnout on its opening day. Exhibitors spanned Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, Switzerland, India, UK, France, Thailand, Malaysia and more.
